Eric Fuentes serves as President of Kern Erectors, Inc., bringing over 12 years of experience in steel erection and the welding industry to the company’s leadership. As a licensed C-51 contractor, he combines deep field expertise with strategic direction to drive operational excellence, elevate performance standards, and deliver complex projects with precision and professionalism. His disciplined execution and forward-thinking approach position the company for sustainable growth in a demanding industry.

Antonio Quintana | Vice President

Antonio Quintana serves as Vice President of Kern Erectors, leading estimating, business development, and preconstruction efforts with a focus on strategic growth and market expansion. He plays a critical role in driving revenue, securing high-value opportunities, and positioning the company competitively across complex structural steel and infrastructure projects. With a strong emphasis on planning and execution, he ensures projects are approached with clarity, precision, and long-term value in mind.

Antonio began his career at 18 in a fabrication shop before transitioning into the field, gaining hands-on experience in both fabrication and erection. This foundation gives him a practical understanding of steel construction that directly informs his approach to estimating, constructability, and risk management. Known for his disciplined, results-driven mindset, he develops competitive strategies, builds key partnerships, and aligns the company with high-growth opportunities. Committed to performance and progress, he helps drive sustainable growth while strengthening Kern Erectors’ position in an evolving industry.

Penelopy Fuentes | Business Manager

Penelopy Fuentes oversees business operations, financial coordination, and internal systems that support the daily functions of Kern Erectors, Inc. She manages accounts payable, labor compliance, and administrative processes. She works closely with leadership, project managers, and field teams to ensure operations remain efficient, accurate, and aligned with company objectives. With a strong focus on structure and accountability, she plays a key role in maintaining the operational and financial flow of the company.

Having been part of Kern Erectors since its reestablishment, Penelopy has contributed to building and strengthening the company’s administrative and operational framework. Her responsibilities span vendor management, payroll coordination, compliance reporting, and internal process development. She also supports executive leadership and oversees branding and organizational initiatives. Known for her attention to detail and reliability, she ensures the business runs with consistency, clarity, and long-term stability while supporting the company’s continued growth.

Anikah Alvarado | Payroll COordinator

Anikah is responsible for processing payroll and ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. She supports payroll operations with consistency and attention to detail.

Carlos Linares | Superintendent

Carlos oversees daily job site operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. He brings years of hands-on construction experience and strong field leadership to every project.

Jose Serrano | Superintendent

Jose Serrano oversees on-site construction operations, coordinating crews and managing daily field activities to ensure projects stay safe, efficient, and on schedule. With more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry, he is known for his reliability, strong leadership in the field, and close attention to detail.

Jose works closely with project managers, contractors, and crews to maintain smooth jobsite coordination while upholding the high standards of safety and quality that define Kern Erectors’ work.

Luis Jimenez | Superintendent

Luis leads day-to-day job site operations, working closely with teams to ensure quality and progress on each project. His years of construction experience support consistent and well-executed results.

Bruce was an important part of our team. His years of experience and deep knowledge of the craft set him apart, and he was someone others could always rely on.
